Tuition and other charges are based on the program campus (whether your degree is an on-campus or an online program). Main campus programs are assessed main campus tuition and fees for all courses, even if they are delivered in an online format, and tuition and fee charges are capped at 12 hours per semester even if a student is enrolled in more courses. Students enrolled only in online degree programs are assessed online tuition and fee rates.

Students who are admitted into an approved online degree program and live outside of the state of North Carolina may be eligible to receive a special tuition rate “Outside NC” (ONNC). Please visit this website for more information on eligibility requirements and instructions.

Students must apply for official residency determination through www.NCresidency.org in order to receive in-state tuition and State financial aid consideration. A North Carolina resident for tuition purposes (and for State financial aid consideration) is a person, or a dependent person, whose parent or legal guardian has established and maintained legal residence in North Carolina for at least 12 months.
