Apply For Graduation

Students are required to file an application at the beginning of the semester in which they plan to graduate. You must submit your application and be cleared to graduate in order to receive your diploma.

UNCG students must formally apply to graduate during the beginning of the semester when they will finish their degree requirements. After applying to graduate, the University Registrar’s Office confirms that they have met all degree requirements and processes their information so they can receive an official UNCG diploma. At that time, undergraduate students will be designated as graduating with honors based on their academic performance.

After applying for graduation, students will go through a final set of degree audits in order to ensure they have met all the requirements to graduate from UNCG.
